Quarintine part 2
after all the excitement of the snow on day one i was kind of expecting to wake up to more snow this morning. So i put on my coat grabbed my gumboots and headed outside but not to find snow but to find rain and lots of it to my disapointment. but that didn't stop me from having a good walk in the rain! but when i came back from my lovely walk in the rain i was so cold that i couldn't feel my toes, i took of my drenched coat put on a nice warm jumper and sat beside the fire to get on with some school work

-Tuesday 14 April
This morning I woke up with a sense of sadness after all it was the last day of the holidays. I got out of bed, gradually gaining my strength in my weak knobbly knees as I walked down the halway.
Breakfast was as usawall (avocado on toast) with a drink of milo afterwards.
After breakfast I walked down to my room to get ready and as I was opening the curtains I noticed something, something strange, something I rarely see and what was that you ask? SNOW!! Real snow, I couldn't believe myself. I was so excited that without getting dressed into warm clothes I ran outside in my pajama shirt, shorts and gumboots! Butttttt that didn't last long as my dad told me to come inside and put some proper clothes on.

100 word challenge
one day I was walking along the street with Molly when we came across a banana. We thought this was just a normal banana but we were wrong. It was a black banana and we all know that black bananas are great for baking banana cakes so we took it home, gathered some ingredients and made a banana cake. But a problem occurred when peeling the banana we realized that it was rock solid,we jumped on it, smashed it with a heavy hammer and even after that it still wasn't damaged. So we had to make a regular cake.

Where I'm from poem
where I'm from...
I am from the cold Canterbury wind,
Drifting across the cold winters water.
I am from the fresh running water,
Trickling down my back as i reach the surface of the lake.
I am from the warm towels,
Fresh out of the dryer.
I am from the freshly made hot chocolates,
Warmed by my mothers hands.
I am from relaxing in front of the tv,
To cuddling with my dog.
All these have been my loves
My memories
And where i'm from
